chemical peels

Chemical peels

Basically, there are two types: * Aggressive• laser, phenol acid and TCA 40% * Soft. Glycolic acid, mandelic, etc..

I prefer soft peels because the patient does not have any mark or advers effect while the treatment is performed at the consulting room. Autumn-Winter are the ideal seasons because the sun is far away from Earth .

The patient must avoid sun exposure during the treatment but after that she/he will be able to back to normal life.

The aim in this kind of peelings is to remove the dead cells from skin's surface, stimulating collagen and giving the dermis some water and contributing to close pores. It is also used to erase skin spots (hydroquinone combined with glycolic acid), improving the skin texture, reducing fine lines and granting skin brightness It is important to say the skin not only looks good but also through histology studies, it has been confirmed that skin looks strengthened.
